Noteworthy Community Choir is holding auditions during the month of September for singers interested in joining for the Christmas 2023 season. 

NCC begins rehearsals in October on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Ada. Rehearsals and several local performances are scheduled through mid-December.   

Return to Dignity recovery meetings held at the Bluffton First Methodist
church are being discontinued. Another anonymous recovery meeting in the area is:

Brush chipping that would normally take place on the first Monday in September is delayed until September 11 due to the Labor Day holiday.

The Village announcement notes:

One of the goals of brush chipping and pickup is to keep the tree lawn areas of the Village clear of debris, so that debris litter does not enter the storm sewer system.

Bulldogs host Riverdale on September 7

The Ada High School girls soccer team tied visiting non-conference foe Delphos St. John’s 1-1 on a hot and steamy Tuesday evening, September 5, under the lights at War Memorial Stadium. 

Ada ran its record to 3-1-1 overall with the draw. DSJ stayed undefeated at 3-0-4 after the tie.

The September 5 regular meeting of the Village of Ada Council included discussions with Village Administrator Jamie Hall on council direction on Village procedures relating to sidewalk replacement and new sidewalk precision cutting repairs. Former police chief Michael Harnishfeger will be hired as a part-time officer.
