American Pickers in Ada?
You’ve watched American Pickers.
You know Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz. They are on a mission to recycle America. Guess what! They are coming to Ohio in October, according to Deb Curlis of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.
Although they’ve kept their exact Ohio visit locations under wrap, they did reach out to the Ada chamber, so stay turned to the Icon and cross your fingers.
Here’s what Sarah Perkins, with the popular History Channel show told Curlis:
Our show is planning on returning to Ohio this October. We're looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters in your area with interesting items and lots of them.
The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word so that people know we’re coming to town.
We are looking for different, unusual, and unique items too – something we’ve never seen before and with an interesting story.
We are excited to continue to reach the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking. If you feel it appropriate, we really hope you’re able to help us let the people in your backyards know.
The Icon’s advice to viewers: contact Curlis for more details.
