A tennis fun night celebration takes place in September as a recognition evening for the newly refurbed Ada Park tennis courts.
Bryan Marshall, a member of the committee that created the refurbing program, said the event is at 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, at the tennis courts.
“Kids and their parents are encouraged to come,” said Marshall. Adding, “don’t forget your tennis rackets and tennis shoes. There will be plenty of opportunity for tennis action on the courts that evening."
There will also be some prizes for youth given during the evening.
For certain, this guy is a Big Man on Campus. You won't find him on the ONU campus, however. You'll find him near the ceiling of Ada Flea Market, 111 N. Main St., Ada.

ADA - A lone senior returns to pace the youthful Ada cross country team this fall.
Veteran Hunter Wells is back to run the grueling sport for fourth-year head coach Josh Klein, whose combined boys/girls roster boasts nine runners. There is only one female on the team.
"We are really young and inexperienced," admitted Klein. "But the most exciting part is working with a mostly young group that is new to cross country."
Ada lost eight runners from last season, mostly to graduation, including ace Miguel Jordan. Three lettermen return in 2019.
