United Way of Hardin County visible in Ada

The Hardin County United Way thermometer it in its traditional spot in the Ada depot park, reminding residents of this year's United Way campaign, according to Phyllis Griffith.
The thermometer in the Ada railroad park reflects the goal to raise $150,000 to help fund 21 essential agencies the county. Of funds collected, 98% raised stays in Hardin county.
Ada organizations benefiting from the United Way include Beatitudes and Community Health Professionals-Hospice. In addition, several county and area agencies that serve Ada residents are assisted by the United Way.
"The United Way board reviews the needs in our county and how each agency responds to those needs. It has been a difficult year with the pandemic and needs are increasing," said Griffith.
"Let us keep the temperature rising on this thermometer over the next two and one half months to reach this goal."

Stephanie and Bob Temple are the honorary co-chairs of this year's campaign.
