Health Department phone lines are tied up
The following notice is from the Kenton-Hardin County Health Department concerning vaccine scheduling:
We are aware that individuals are having trouble getting through on our phone lines for vaccine scheduling.
We would ask for patience at this time as we do not have an alternate way of scheduling, we are working on this issue.
Please try to leave a message to receive a call back for information on your appointment date and time. At this time we would ask that you leave a message at extension 1801 or 1803.
If you are unable to leave a message it is likely that our phone lines are overwhelmed, we urge you to try back at a later time. Please understand we are doing what our office and staff are capable of and we will continue to schedule and administer vaccines until we have completed the 1B population.
And we are offering a text option going forward during regular business hours.
We will be offering that option during regular business hours at 567-305-1087.
Please send us the name of the individual(s) that need an appointment, their age, and a good contact number to call and notify of a date & time for your vaccine.
Please understand this option will only be answered during regular business hours and you will receive a call back with additional information on your appointment.
