A series of speakers will share their insights and expertise during Digital History Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at the business college. The event is free and open to the public.
The day is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of digitizing historical documents and oral histories as well as working with community partners.
The presenters will discuss the promise and pitfalls of digital history and will demonstrate techniques that could be used by local groups to gain increased public exposure. The event is sponsored by ONU’s Department of History, Politics and Justice.
The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble will perform at the Freed Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for faculty and staff, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students

NAPERVILLE, Ill.— Junior Matt Molinaro(Sterling Heights, Mich./DeLasalle) was named an All-American and National Runner Up in the 800-meter run as he competed on Day 2 of the NCAA Div. III National Championships at North Central (Ill.) College on Saturday afternoon.
Molinaro qualified for Saturday's finals with the fastest time heading into the second day.
The junior finished second and earned All-America honors in a personal best time of 1:51.53.

ADA -- The Ohio Northern softball team wrapped up its Spring Break trip with a pair of pitching duel victories on Saturday.
