The holiday light display is at Saulisberry Park on the southwest side of Kenton. Hours: 6-9 p.m. Address: 13344 SR 67. Cost: $5 per car. All proceeds shared with local charities.

GRANVILLE — Junior Ryan Bruns' (Chickasaw/Marion Local) second consecutive double-double led the Ohio Northern men's basketball team to a 93-64 road victory at Denison on Wednesday evening at Livingston Gymnasium.

The Polar Bears improve to 6-3 overall, while the Big Red drop to 6-4.

Bruns led all scorers with a 34-point effort and pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds to lead the team defensively.

Vancrest residents heard "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" sung by numerous choirs and carolers this month. In fact, on Wednesday evening carolers from the Ada First Baptist Church (pictured) walked the hallways singing carols. Just checking Ada weather about 11 p.m. last night and found I'd rather live here than in Ada, Minn.

Our temp was 28 degrees while Ada, Minn., folks were reeling with a temp of 13 degrees and facing a winter storm warning.

Adak (they spell it wrong) Alaska, was warmer than here, 35 compared to 28.

And, there is an Adah, Pa., but they spell it wrong, too

There is also an Ada in Kansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and West Virginia.

Laurell Elizabeth Hall-Frazier, 84, of Carey, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at 7:48 a.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born July 30, 1933, in Carey, Ohio, to the late Anna Margaret (Pipes) and Joseph Ferdinand Dible, Sr.

On Jan. 22, 1952, she married James Irwin Hall. They divorced. They had six children, Thomas Daniel (Janet Collins) Hall, Kristine Kay (Gary) Jones, James Irwin (Valerie Rex) Hall, Jr., Jeffrey Alan (Debbie Southward) Hall, John Karl (Autum Rukes) Hall and Mary Elizabeth (Friend Bob Baker) Hall.
