Project supported by bike part manufacturer Lezyne and shop Bike Crazy of Bluffton

FROM ONU.EDU__Just in time for summer cruising, 15 Ada Elementary third- and fourth-graders received brand-new bicycles, thanks to a collaborative after-school STEM program sponsored by Ohio Northern University.

In addition to new wheels, helmets, and accessories, the students also gained a foundational understanding of engineering principles, bike maintenance, and biking safety.

Trees symbolize growth, strength, and a deep-rooted commitment to the future—making this the perfect way to honor 250 years of American history right here in Hardin County. This newly planted tree will stand as a living monument for generations of residents to enjoy.

The Hardin County Sports Hall of Fame has awarded $500 scholarships to Mason Howard and Addi Manns, who are graduating from Hardin County high schools in 2026.

MASON HOWARD
Mason Howard has participated in football, basketball, and track throughout his high school career, earning football honors as 3rd Team All-Ohio Running Back, 1st Team All-District Running Back, and 1st Team All-NWCC Running Back. In track he also earned honors as two-time 1st Team NWCC in the 4x100 meter relay and 1st Team NWCC in the 4x200 meter relay.

Jeff Fries, age 68, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2026, surrounded by the family that was his greatest pride and joy.
