Drugs seized at Kenton residence
In the early morning hours of November 7, detectives from the Hardin County Crime Task Force were requested to assist the Kenton Police Department in the investigation of a possible shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Levings Street in the city of Kenton.
During the investigation, a search warrant was issued for a Levings Street residence, where detectives seized a quantity of suspected drugs including fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, and marijuana.
One male was taken into custody for felonious assault and transported to the Multi County Correctional Center in Marion. Additional charges are pending. The case continues under investigation.
The Task Force was assisted at the scene by deputies from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
