The Ada Icon introduces a new music review column. Delano D. Whidbee, a university student sophomore from Flint, Mich., is the columnist.
He says: "Music has always been around my life. The different creative styles interested me from a young age."
This is more than a serious hobby for Delano. He said, "I check daily to see what new music or exclusive interviews, or music visuals have been released."
And, concerning his favorite music, he said: "I like any music I can relate to, or understand. Also, if there is some creative style to the music whether it’s the instrumental or the way everything flows together."
The Ohio Northern men's tennis team clinched a share of the OAC regular season championship with a 9-0 win over Capital on Wednesdat afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears are now 14-4 overall and 8-0 in the OAC, while the Crusaders drop to 11-4 overall and 6-1 in the OAC.
This is the Polar Bears third OAC regular season title in the last four seasons.

Deb Schwaiger, a certified nurse practitioner (CNP) in the Ohio Northern University Health Center, has received the Affiliate New Professional Award from the American College Health Association (ACHA). ACHA is a national nonprofit association that represents the interests of college health professionals and the campus communities they serve.
Presented for the first time in 2002, this award recognizes ACHA members who have provided service to the field of college health for three years or less and who have made significant contributions to their institutions and/or affiliate. Schwaiger is a member of the Ohio College Health Association, an ACHA affiliate.
