The Tuesday, March 4 regular meeting of the Village of Ada Council will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, Council Chambers. 115 W Buckeye Ave.

Items to be presented to council include a proposal for the 2025 Street and Alley paving. The total estimated cost is $185,203.
The Apollo Career Center Board of Education will hold a Regular Meeting on February 24, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting agenda is attached below. It includes a resolution regarding Amounts and Rates for the next succeeding fiscal year commencing July 1, 2025 including a tax levy.
Ron Fleming is the Ada Schools representative on the Apollo board.
During the public comments portion of the meeting, Ada resident Kevin Wagner commented on new water rates established at the February 4 meeting, saying he would like to see one price for one unit of water, rather than providing bulk discounts. He said that he wants the Village to emphasize conservation and that he was considering running for council.
Liberty Township trustees held a special meeting on January 27, 2025 with guest Mike Bacon, Hardin County Auditor, to pass two resolutions required for a levy renewal. (Minutes are attached below for three January 2025 board meetings.)
The trustees passed a resolution requesting a current tax valuation from the County Auditor for a 1 mil replacement levy for five years for Liberty Township current expenses. Also passed was a resolution to proceed with putting the replacement levy on the May 6, 2025 primary election ballot.
The Liberty Township Park District has provided details from its February 17 meeting and February 18 bid opening. (Minutes attached.)Among the evening's business:

Daniel Klear made presentation on his Eagle Scout project, making a soccer kick ball wall to be placed behind diamond #2.
Cupboards in the park office kitchen have been painted and plumbing has been updated.
Discussion covered the need to update playground equipment, the new concession stand and replacement of a shelter house.
