Allegra is the new Polar Paws pup on campus, ready to learn a lot about socialization in classes, residence halls, the dining services, and greeting people as they trek across campus.
She is a 3-month-old golden retriever and has a huge love for people. This little girl is, hilariously, a pharmacy student with her new momma and she is settling into campus life quickly and comfortably.
Breakfast with Santa at The Inn always sells out. For reservations for the Saturday, Dec. 2 event, call 419-772-2500. Cost is $11.75 for adults, $6.75 for children 4-12, free for those 3 and under. In addition to breakfast and a visit from Santa, families will receive a photo to take home.

The 20th annual Festival of Trees at Community Health Professionals is underway with the most items ever to bid on: more than 125 holiday items from fully decorated trees to a collection of homemade doilies. The Festival, located at 1200 S. Main, is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. throughout the week.
Here is the schedule for the remainder of the week:
Leaf pickup is underway by village employees. Everything but the kitchen sink has been thrown at us weatherwise from tornadoes one week ago, to low temperatures in the 20s, to rain, and big white flakes of snow last night. The leaves fall, the rakes come out, then village employees pick them up along the tree line throughout November. (Monty Siekerman photo)
