The caller claims that the call recipient is delinquent with IRS payments and must contact and/or make arrangements to pay the IRS immediately or face arrest. This is a well-worn scam. The IRS does not conduct this type of business by phone. Should you receive such a call, the best thing to do is simply hang up.
