Sophomore Emily Richards broke the 400-meter school record and teamed up with junior Allie Gast, junior Michelle Mosler and senior Kristine Wagner to claim the 4x100-meter relay school record as women's track and field finished 6th of 18 teams Saturday afternoon at the All-Ohio Championships.
The Polar Bears improve to 52-7 overall.
Ohio Wesleyan won the meet with 122 points, followed by Oberlin in second with 98.
Richards finished second in the 400-meter dash with a school record time of 56.22. She broke her previous record of 56.79 set earlier this season.
The Ada High School track and field team will hold a 5K run and walk Sunday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at Ada War Memorial Park. Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls.
