Kiwanis Club meets 4 Paws
Earlier this week Dominick Sara and Carah Porter from Ohio Northern University updated Ada Kiwanis members best about the 4 Paws for Ability program involving ONU student training service dogs
Founded in 2014, Polar Paws is an Ohio Northern University student organization that raises service dogs through 4 Paws for Ability in Xenia, Ohio.
The active campus of Ohio Northern offers a wide variety of events and social situations for dogs to experience and is the key to a service dog in training's development and socialization.
Community members are encouraged to check out these moments on campus to see how Polar Paws dogs have integrated into ONU campus culture to become a distinct part of campus life.
Their mission is: "We at 4 Paws for Ability believe service dogs should be made available to any child with a disability who wishes to have the love, companionship, and independence that are the result of service dog placement." - 4 Paws for Ability.
Polar Paws is an organization teamed up with 4 Paws for Ability to bring the fostering program to the Ohio Northern University Campus.
