The Hardin County sheriff's office is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Jan. 23 at the intersection of State Route 309 East and County Road 175.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Corey Chrisman, 24, of Kenton pulled from County Road 175 into the path of a semi livestock hauler, driven by Garth Pearson, 28, of Coldwater. The Chrisman auto came to rest off the south side of 309.

Chrisman was entrapped in the vehicle and suffered serious injury. He was transported from the scene to Hardin Memorial Hospital and then transferred by Life Flight helicopter to Grant Medical Center, Columbus. The semi driver was not injured.

Assisting at the scene were the Kenton Fire Department, BKP Ambulance, Kenton police and Osborn’s and Big Daddy’s Towing.
