ONU students take an early break for the holidays
ONU on break – See how covid-19 affected the campus this fall in the graphs below -
Ohio Northern University students left campus today for a long break between the fall and spring semesters.
As covid-19 changed many patterns in Ada this fall, one of those changes was to the Ohio Northern University calendar. In it, the seminar started in early August and ended today, Nov. 20.
The revised calendar is one way in which the university is following guidance from the CDC regarding the coronavirus.
Additionally, the calendar eliminated breaks during the fall semester to minimize students’ additional risk of infection due to departing campus to many destinations and returning to campus after a short time away.
ONU’s fall semester traditionally ends in mid-December.
A covid-19 testing dashboard on the ONU website shares campus testing information. The dashboard shows:
• positive on-campus testing,
• cumulative on-campus testing and
• off-campus testing.
