Kroenig to discuss North Korean weapon issues

Matthew Kroenig will discuss “The United States/North Korea Nuclear Weapons Impasse: The Way Forward” at 7 p.m. on March 21 in Dicke Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Kroenig provides regular commentary for major media outlets such as PBS Newshour, Fareed Zakaria GPS, NPR, BBC, CNN, CBS, Fox News and C-SPAN.

 

An authority on nuclear security, Kroenig teaches at at Georgetown University. He also is a senior fellow at The Atlantic Council. Additionally, Kroenig was a senior national security adviser on Marco Rubio’s 2016 presidential campaign and a foreign policy adviser on Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign.

 

Kroenig has served in several positions with the U.S. Department of Defense and the intelligence community, has testified before Congressional committees, and regularly consults with U.S. government entities.
