Cami Hazelton, an Ada High School freshman, will compete in gymnastics this winter, even though the sport is not offered in Ada.

She is able to represent the school through competition as an independent gymnast in area high school meets.

Her first meet is Saturday, Dec. 22, in Findlay, where she practices in Findlay and has a Findlay coach.

Her involvement in gymnastics started in 2010 and she competes in all four events including floor, vault, bars and beams.
