The visiting Ada High School football team led early but lost 35-14 at Spencerville in a Northwest Conference battle Friday night, October 6.

The Bulldogs scored the game’s first touchdown, yet trailed 14-7 at halftime.

The Ada High School boys soccer team lost to visiting Van Buren 4-2 in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match on a hot Wednesday night, October 4, at War Memorial Stadium.

The game was also Bulldog Senior Night and the “Pink Out” cancer cure match for Ada.

“Huge thanks out to everyone that came out to support us and donating to one of our soccer family mom’s fight against cancer,” said Ada head coach Jason Okuly.

The Ada High School volleyball team lost at league-leading Crestview in a Northwest Conference match Thursday night, October 5.

The Bulldogs fell to 11-9 overall and 2-5 in the NWC with the 25-7, 25-11, 25-10 defeat. 

First-place power Crestview improved to 17-2 overall and stayed atop the NWC at 7-0 after the win.

The Ada football team visits slumping league foe Spencerville on Friday, October 6, looking for their second straight win to reach .500 after week eight.

Ada is 1-2 at home this season and 2-2 on the road after the 28-0 win at Delphos Jefferson last Friday. The Bearcats are 0-3 at home and 0-4 on the road.

The Ada High School girls soccer team lost 3-0 to visiting Van Buren in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match on a warm Wednesday evening, October 4, at War Memorial Stadium.

With the defeat, Ada is 6-4-3 overall and finished 2-2-1 in NCOSA play. The Bulldogs are third in the six-team league.

The Ada High School boys soccer team played yet another tie after a 2-2 draw with visiting Northwest Conference foe Spencerville on an unseasonably warm Monday evening, October 2.

The Bulldog records are now 2-5-6 overall and 0-3-1 in NWC play.

The Bearcats are now 3-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in NWC action.
