Anney Archer tells about her 4-H experience
Hello! My name is Anney Archer. I am 14 years old. I am a member of Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H club.
Last year I took Sundresses and Jumpers. In this project I had to sew a sundress or jumper. I chose a sundress and I even had to learn how to put ribbon, as a trim, on my sundress.
I also had to learn how to put in a zipper. That was even a first for my mom, too. I really liked the extra time I got to spend with my mom. From shopping for material and accessories, to the time we got to spend sewing my dress.
I was chosen to represent Hardin County at the state fair. I really had fun at this new experience. I love being in 4-H. I get to meet new friends and hang out with the friends I already know. You have meetings, activities, camp, and fair.
I would encourage all to come and join 4-H and meet new friends.
