15 minutes with Justice Cheney, 2014 AHS grad planning to move to Columbus
By Torie Wright
What year did you graduate from Ada High School?
I graduated in May of 2014.
You recently graduated from State Beauty Academy. What’s coming next?
Next will be a job in the nail industry, and after six months I will be taking the next step in life and will be moving to Columbus to see what’s in store for me there.
When did you first discover your love of nail art?
I always enjoyed doing others’ nails for fun, whether it was painting for fun or doing nails for homecoming, or even getting my own done every two weeks.
What’s your dream job?
My dream job would probably have to be a pediatric nurse.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you be? Why?
North Carolina or Virginia Beach…really any place with the ocean and a beach.
If you were giving one piece of advice to the seniors getting ready to graduate in May, what would you say?
Don’t wait, have fun, and cherish all the time you have with your friends because after high school everyone goes their separate ways.
What’s your favorite part of Christmas?
Waking up early on Christmas Day and seeing the joy and excitement on my sister’s face when she sees that “Santa” came to the house.
Do you have any special plans for the holidays?
There aren’t many plans for the holidays yet except for spending time with my family and friends who are home on break!
