VAN WERT - The Ada boys cross country team finished 14th of 15 teams at the Van Wert Invitational Saturday.
Bulldog senior Miguel Jordan captured 16th place in the 153-runner field to pace Ada. Jordan covered the 3.1-mile course in a season-best time of 17:47.1.
Ada junior Michael Crouse came in second for the Bulldogs at 66th in 19:58.7. Freshman Riley Ferguson finished in 102nd place with a time of 21:30.5.
Keegan Giddens came in 134th with a time of 24:09.4. Senior Brice Ferguson ended up 148th in 26:37.4.
"My boys had a great meet," said Ada coach Josh Klein. "Most set personal records, including Miguel Jordan's impressive 17:48. This time should qualify him to make it out of the district meet."
Lincolnview took first in the boys team competition, while Coldwater won the nine-team girls meet.
Lady Bulldog senior Alexis Ennis finished 93rd out of 103 female runners in a time of 28:20.8.
