Letter: Grateful for wonderful and supportive library
Ada Library is the BEST! I am a mother to three young children and a Reading Specialist at Ada Elementary School. As you can imagine, my life revolves around books and reading! I’m so grateful to live in a community with a wonderful and supportive library.
As a mother, my children have loved the Summer Reading Program. The engaging events and fun prizes keep them entertained the entire summer. The book selection is vast and caters to so many interests. I always leave the Ada Library with a new favorite author for my readers at school and my children at home.
Currently, my three-year-old visits the library each week for story-time with his babysitter while I am teaching. Whenever I pick him up on a library day, he has so much to tell me! He knows the librarians by name and talks about the books and fun projects. As a Reading Specialist, I’ve watched the students’ eyes light up when the library arrives to share a favorite read-aloud. They make reading magical and engaging. Additionally, The Ada Library is always helpful and supportive whenever teachers have questions. Thank you, Ada Library, for providing such a wonderful experience for our entire community!
