Maysville Methodist Church will hold its annual chicken barbecue from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 24. Cost for 1/2 chicken, green beans, applesauce, roll and water is $8.50. Also available: pie, cookies, and drummies.
The church is located 1/2 mile south of 309 on County Road 15. The chicken is prepared by the Alger Lions Club.

During the week of July 20th, Liberty National Bank will celebrate Christmas in July by collecting non-perishable food items for the Ada Food Pantry.

FROM THE BLUFFTON ICON - Fresh off its recent announcement of two franchise locations in the Toledo and Columbus areas, Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Company announced that its fourth Ohio store will open in Findlay this fall.
Franchisees Jennifer and Jason Swartzlander, of Bluffton, will own and operate a store in the Interstate Plaza, just off of I-75 on Trenton Avenue in Findlay.
