Ada parent-teacher conferences Nov. 19 and 20
The Ada Exempted Village School District is having Parent-Teacher conferences for students in grades K-12 on Monday, Nov. 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Students will attend school on Monday, Nov. 19. There will not be school on Nov. 20 and 21. Thanksgiving break is Nov. 22 and 23.
Elementary
Elementary conferences will be student-led. Parents should bring their child with them so that the student, along with his or her teacher (s) can share information about this year’s progress. Parents had the opportunity to sign up for conference times at Open House in most cases. Reminders will be sent home.
7th and 8th
Parents of students in grades 7 and 8 will have the opportunity to meet with teachers that their children have for their core academic areas on a first-come first-served basis. If parents wish to meet with teachers other than the core areas, they should contact the high school office at 419-634-2746 to schedule an appointment. Parents should have received information from the school detailing the procedure.
High School
Parents of students in grades 9-12 will have the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher(s) as well. Some parents will receive an invitation asking that they meet with specific teacher(s). All parents are encouraged to attend if they wish to discuss their child’s progress.
In order to meet with teachers, parents are asked to call 419-634-2746 to schedule an appointment time. If parents are meeting with numerous teachers, the secretary can help to coordinate times.
