The Ohio Northern men's indoor track and field team will look to compete for an Ohio Athletic Conference title in 2017 under eighth-year head coach Jason Maus. Northern finished second on the conference in both the indoor and outdoor season's a year ago and posted its third consecutive top-3 appearance in the league in both seasons.
Maus welcomes back 22 letterwinners from the 2015-16 seasons. "We like our chances this year in the OAC," said head coach Jason Maus. "We return a nice group from last season and hope to build on the success we had last year."

There is a piece of white cloth that the sun turned blue in the current exhibit at Elzay Gallery of Art. Impossible?
Emily Jay (pictured) explains that a chemical used by photographers long ago to develop pictures was applied to the white cloth, except where the stars are.
She and a student carried the cloth out into the sun, which because of the chemical, turned the white cloth blue, except for the stars which were covered to keep them white.
Emily knew this would occur because she teaches photography at ONU.
How does a blue cloth with white stars fit into the theme of the show?
Emily said the cloth looks like the ceilings of the cathedrals in Italy.

It all above board. This is a photo illustration - we've enhanced the actual photo - of a homemade snowflake created at the Ada Public Library late last week. It's actually the inside of a rather large snowflake, which was part of a snowflake art class for school students. The entire snowflake is below.
Not to mention quality performances by ONU's Department of Theatre Arts

Where else, but in Ada…
could you attend the ultimate Michael Jackson experience, Ben Vereen’s homage to Frank Sinatra, Broadway’s Next H!t Musical, plus ONU student productions of The Pirates of Penzance, an International Play Festival and a host of other acts?
The answer: The Freed Center for the Performing Arts on the Ohio Northern University campus. You could say that the Center brings the world's stage to Ada.
On Wednesday morning, Rosanna Scott, Marketing and Communications Specialist of The Center, shared with Ada Area Chamber of Commerce members some of the upcoming shows and talked about The Center’s impact on Ada.
