Ada council takes action on painting water tower
Ada council made two legislative emergency actions on Tuesday.
Council passed a resolution to work with Dixon Engineering of Lake Odessa, Michigan, for a 2021 inspection and painting of the village 300,000 gallon water tower. An 18-page document attached to this story spells out the agreement.
Council also passes a resolution with Jones and Henry Engineers, Cincinnati, for the installation of a backup power generator automatic transfer switch involving the village water treatment plant.
In the meeting, it was noted that Ada utility customers will see a very slight increase in their March utility bills. A 2 percent annual increase took effect with the March bills sent this month. The minimum monthly bill moves from $90.11 to $91.07.
