Spongy moth treatments scheduled by ODA include Hardin County
The Ohio Department of Agriculture will be aerial spraying to stop the spread of the spongy moth–an invasive species that destroys trees and shrubs.
The announcement notes, "The treatment is NOT harmful to humans, animals, bees or plants. We hope you’ll join us for a virtual open house to learn more on either Feb. 13 at noon or Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.
"Spraying is happening in parts of Auglaize, Fairfield, Hardin, Hocking, Knox, Logan, Licking, Vinton and Washington Counties. The link HERE shows you exactly where.
