On Tuesday, August 6, the Village of Ada Council held a regular meeting, which the Icon attended remotely (Meeting agenda is HERE.) Business for the evening was largely focused on village infrastructure including water meter and fire hydrant replacement, as well as maintenance at the Village water plant. 

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2025 the Waterworth consulting firm will give a short presentation on Village of Ada utility funds, current rates, future capital improvement and necessary funding to maintain compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency.

The Ada Exempted Village Schools Board of Education met on July 18 with a nine-page agenda and new Superintendent Julie Simmons.

At the July 16 regular meeting of the Village of Ada Council, two resolutions were approved that will put governmental electric and natural gas village aggregation programs on the November 5 ballot in Ada.

The Apollo Career Center's next regular board of education meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. 

The meeting will be held in Apollo's Board room. The meeting agenda is HERE.

Due to recent incidents with unruly individuals during Tuesday eventing late night swims (8:00-10:00 p.m.) at the Village of Ada Pool, the village council approved a request to hire a police officer to provide assistance at the facility on those evenings.
