ADA - The Ada boys tennis team lost a close 3-2 battle to visiting Clyde in their second round match of the northwest quadrant in the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association Div. II state tournament.
The match was played on a sunny Wednesday evening at Ohio Northern University's Marmon tennis courts.
The Bulldogs fell to 6-1 with the defeat. Talented Clyde had to beat Celina in a suspended first round match at ONU before taking on Ada, so they came away with two wins and a berth in the northwest quad semifinals.

Ada High School sophomore Nora Dellifield broke her record and the school record for girls pole vault Saturday at the Hardin Northern Invitational. Last April she broke the school record two days in a row, clearing 8’7” and 9’0”. Last weekend she cleared 9’6”.
The Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team jumped two spots to No. 9 in the fourth weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) power rankings.

ADA — The Ada boys track team won a triangular meet at home in a light but regular rain Tuesday evening at War Memorial Stadium.
Ada scored 89 points to capture first in the boys team standings. Bluffton came in second with 70 points, while Ft. Jennings was a distant third with 10.
The Lady Bulldogs finished second to Bluffton in the girls meet, 94 points to 57. FJ brought up the rear again with 18.
