Miss Vicki’s Music Studio, 2613 State Route 81, Ada, is now accepting new students for fall classes. According to Vicki Mills, studio owner, classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 24, and run through Jan. 16. You can also register for introductory sessions (4 - 6 weeks) that run in October/November.

A parent orientation meeting is from 6 to 6:45 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23, for parents enrolled in the keyboard class on Tuesdays. That section is now full. If you are interested in Keyboard for your 6 - 8 year old, contact Vicki as soon as possible, so another section can be established to include your budding musician.

Classes, offered for students of all age levels and experience follow:

Early Childhood
• Babies to age 3 (family music for babies, toddlers and or mixed ages
• 3-5 year olds (Cycle of Seasons)
• 4-6 year olds (Music Makers)

Group Keyboard
• 7-9 year olds (and adults)

Private piano and voice
• Ages 9 and up

• Sounds of Praise Children’s Choir
Home-School Choir:  A Home School choir begins Thursday, Oct. 3,  from 2 - 4 p.m. This treble-voice choir welcomes home-schoolers who are 10 - 20 years old. Boys with unchanged voices are welcome. Contact Vicki to set up an audition soon so you can join the fun from the very beginning.

About Vicki Mills

Vicki Mills earned a Music Education degree from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. 

She taught early childhood music for 11 years with the Peabody Preparatory and served as its Early Childhood Chairman while also teaching children and training teachers in an outreach program in Baltimore City Public Schools. 

She moved to Savannah in 2000 and served as the Lower School Music Specialist at Savannah Country Day School while also running her private music studio. 

After returning to Ada she is excited about her music studio, which includes private and group piano and/or voice for musicians ages 9 through adults, as well as Musikgarten - the exciting early childhood music and movement program for babies to 9 year olds.
