Ada High School to retire Zac Dysert's jersey number 12

Good-bye, Ada High School athletic jersey number 12.

An Ada athlete will never wear it again.

Why? Number 12 belonged to Zac Dysert, 2008 Ada grad.

Number 12 will officially be retired on Saturday, Jan. 30, in a boys’ game against Hardin Northern. The presentation will be made between the junior varsity and varsity contests. And, yes, Zac, will be present and will have some comments.

To commemorate the event Zac Dysert tee shirts are available to order this winter, according to Ken Jochims, Ada athletic director.

Order forms are available at the Ada High School office and Reichert’s on Main Street, Ada. They are also attachments at the bottom of this story. Forms will also be available at Friday night’s boys’ basketball game vs. Delphos Jefferson. Jan. 15 is the deadline for ordering the shirts.

Shirts cost $12. They are white with a purple and vegas design on the front and back commemorating
