The Ohio Northern men's basketball team has been picked to finish fifth in the 2016-17 Ohio Athletic Conference coaches poll, voted on by league coaches.
Northern received 50 points in the poll and is seeking its second consecutive upper division finish under first-year head coach Rich Bensman.
John Carroll and Marietta were selected to finish tied for first in the conference with 77 points and five first place votes each, while the Baldwin Wallace was picked to finish third with 60 points.
Bensman returns six players with starting experience and looks to build on a 9-9 record in the OAC a year ago.
Ada senior defender Will Allen and junior midfielder Terry Sheridan were voted first team All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association by league coaches recently.
Bulldog junior forward Logan Williams and sophomore forward Chris Reyes were each named second team all-league.
Ada junior Noah Pinkney earned honorable mention all-conference notice.
The Bulldogs finished 3-4 in NCOSA play, and were 7-9-1 overall.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced this week that University of Dayton linebacker Christopher Beaschler is one of 12 finalists for the 2016 William V. Campbell Trophy, presented by Fidelity Investments.
The trophy, sometimes referred to as "the Academic Heisman," recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation.
One of only six two-time team captains in Dayton history, Beaschler has led the Flyers in tackles the last two seasons and currently has team honors this year with 72 tackles.
