The 2022 Harvest & Herb Festival on September 17 was a like a great big, warm Ada hug. Main Street from Montford to E. University was filled with families and friends enjoying a day of shopping, eating and drinking, and celebrating fall. Complaints? That the wasps were enjoying themselves, too.

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce hosted some 140 vendors with a variety of products and foods. Food vendors including the Ada Lions were happy to sell out their offerings. Gourds, mums, and other fall-themed items were seen throughout the festival. Activities included sand arts and a giant Jenga game. Booths also included many chamber member and local businesses, as well as the Ada Police Department and EMS.

Vendors were able to sign up for the 2023 Harvest & Herb Festival at a discount by visiting the chamber's own booth and director Lindsay Walden and other chamber leaders.

At noon in Depot Park, the Harvest & Herb Festival queen, Amelia Alexander, was crowned. The contestants, who were interviewed and submitted essays, were Alexander, daughter of Robert and Shelleigh Alexander, Kaitlyn Bowden, daughter of Christina and Dan Bowden, Courtney Sumner, daughter of Jason and Jennifer Sumner.
