Memorial Day ceremonies are 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery
Randy Trayer, Vietnam War veteran and retired Warrant Officer, is the guest speaker of the Monday, May 27, Ada Memorial Day service, according to Brian Clum, commander of the Ream McElroy VFW Post 9381.
Trayer served as a helicopter co-pilot in the 101st Airborne Division and 158th Aviation Regiment.
The ceremony is at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on May 27. It is held in cooperation between the Ada American Legion and Ada Veterans of Foreign Wars. The VFW Auxiliary will lay wreaths in commemoration of service in U.S. wars and a student will provide a reading.
The Memorial Day service is open to the public.
